Fractures

Injury, rather than disease, is the usual cause of broken bones or fractures.

Recommended Action

Follow the usual first aid procedures: make sure breathing is unobstructed, guard against shock, control bleeding by the application of direct pressure when necessary, and prevent unnecessary movement of the fractured part. Knitting and healing will take place more readily if the following herbal aids are used after the bone has been set.

Single Herbs: Comfrey, Aloe Vera, Boswellia, Horsetail, Turmeric (paste as poultice).

Nutritional Supplements: Vitamin A (20,000 IU), B complex (two, twice daily), Vitamin C (500 mg, six times daily), Vitamin D (800 IU, twice daily), Calcium (1000 mg daily), Magnesium (500 mg, daily), Multiminerals (two, twice daily), trace minerals (two tablets, twice daily).
