Description
In Herb-Drug-Nutrient Interaction, you will be introduced to 74 herbs and foods that are discussed in detail with consideration to their interaction with conventional drugs.
Knowing and being aware of any potential interactions between herbs and/or foods, nutritional supplements and pharmaceutical drugs is imperative as a clinical herbal practitioner who wishes to work with clients, or to the home herbalist who desires to have confidence in supporting friends and family with herbal skills safely.
You will learn both known herb-to-drug interactions as well as theoretical interactions for herbs and foods, from Alfalfa, Aloe, American Ginseng to Turmeric, Tea, Valerian and Yohimbe.
Is This Course For Me?
This course may be taken individually as an elective by anyone who wants to augment their herbal clinical knowledge-whether for personal use or in a clinical application.
This course is a mandatory course for (and bundled into) the Master Herbalist Diploma Program.
