In The History of Herbal Medicine students will be provided an anthropological overview of the origins and development of herbal medicine all over the world, through many years up until modern times.
As a student in this course, you will begin by learning a foundation of humans on an anthropological level with discussions of the tribes of the world and their relationship with herbs. Throughout each lesson you will be taken to another area of the world, in a different time to begin to understand the deep and longstanding relationship between humans and herbal medicine.
