Meet Your Instructor

Marie White

Marie White began her journey as an herbalist when the universe kept sending her herbalists to cross her path, when she finally decided to pay attention that there may be a reason why she was “coincidentally’ meeting all these plant people.

She realized Herbalism was meant for her when she would rather hole up with herb books and learn plant use, lore and history more than anything else.

Marie utilizes her passion for plants, organization, leadership, and working toward empowering more people with herbal knowledge to steer Wild Rose College through 2020 and beyond.

Marie instructs the Flower Essences Intensive for the Wild Rose Herbal Village, is a regular webinar host for the College, and is a co-creator of the Spring Herb Walk course, running every May. Hailing from downtown Montreal, she now lives and plays in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, where she stewards a few acres full of medicinal herbs.
