Holly Phillips

Social Media Coordinator

Holly has dedicated her career to nurturing communities, planning events, and promoting wellness with over 15 years in recreation, health, and wellness, and 11 years in digital marketing and storytelling.

Today, as the Executive Director for the Canadian Herb Conference, as well as the Social Media Coordinator with Wild Rose College, Holly blends her passion for herbalism with her expertise in marketing and event management, expanding the reach and impact of the herbal community.

Holly is a community herbalist. Her plant path is eclectic with learning from the Herbal Holistics Foundations program from Colleen Emery, Flower Essence Practitioner training from Ruth Toledo Altschuler. Holly proudly holds space for the Student Herb Club for the BC Herbalists Association, a testament to her commitment to education and community in the herbal realm.

Through her business, Trail of Adventure, Holly helps people get unstuck from the “shoulds” so that they can follow their own wild whispers to a life and business where they are deeply fulfilled, and fully expressed.

Holly’s favourite go to herbal allies in flower essence form include fireweed, wood betony, and bunchberry.

When she’s not at her keyboard, Holly is growing native plants in her backyard, joyfully exploring and adventuring with her two children and one enthusiastic springer spaniel.

She acknowledges the land she plays on is in the traditional territories of the Woodland Cree, Stoney, and Métis peoples, within Treaty 6 Territory and extends gratitude to the Indigenous people who act as stewards of these lands, waters, and ecosystems.
