Martha McCallum, MH

Martha McCallum holds university degrees in biology and environmental science, and graduated as a Master Herbalist from Wild Rose College of Natural Healing in Calgary in 2000. She completed her Master Herbalist thesis on natural health perspectives on stress, and has worked in the area of stress therapy ever since.

Martha is certified as an ACMG hiking guide, Hakomi mind/body Psychotherapist, and Hatha yoga teacher. She is also a wildlife biologist who has studied mountain goats, grizzly bears and wildlife corridors. She owns and operates Feel Your Best Wild Mindful Adventures as well as Martha’s Heli Hikes.

As a hiking guide, Martha offers mindfulness work in wild mountain settings. Martha is an instructor for Outward Bound Canada on the Mindfulness in the Mountains program, and has instructed on nine veterans hiking/backpacking programs, and two Mount Kilimanjaro annual fundraising expeditions.

She is an active, experienced backcountry skier who has skied and hiked in Japan, New Zealand, Nepal, the Alps, Peru, Patagonia and throughout North America.
