Farrah Thompson is a Master Herbalist and the General Manager at Wild Rose College.
She is passionate about supporting women’s health with plant medicine, as well as teaching the next generation about the many benefits of knowing and working with herbs.
Farrah earned her Doctor of Botanical Medicine at the National University of Medical Sciences (Spain), and with her interest in women’s health went on to complete Aviva Romm’s comprehensive Herbal Medicine for Women course. She is also a MHDP graduate with Wild Rose.
Farrah is a regular contributor to the One World Herbal blog, runs her own herbal practice (@northwoodherbal), and recently contributed (with Becky Starling) to the Advanced Formulations course here at WRC.
She lives outside of the busy city of Toronto ON, on the traditional territories of many nations including the Haudenosaunee, Erie, Anishinaabe, Attiwonderonk (Neutral), Huron-Wendat, and Mississaugas. She spends as much time as she can with her family in the many parks, forests, and green spaces in her community.
