    The Master Herbalist Diploma program builds on the extensive foundation in the (prerequisite or equivalent) Practical Herbalist Diploma program.

    Comprised of 8 comprehensive courses to expand on your herbal education, you will be introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine & Ayurvedic systems of healing and their traditional herbs and formulas.

    You Will:

    • learn to handle more complex health conditions with herbs & advanced nutrition
    • learn a model of medicine that blends science & western herbalism with Eastern healing traditions
    • understand and learn to support disorders of the digestive, endocrine, hepatobiliary systems, as well as renal and urinary health
    • understand skin & cardiovascular conditions, musculoskeletal disorders, cancer processes and more
    • learn to avoid potential herb/drug/nutrient interactions to work safely & effectively with herbs
    • have the opportunity to do clinical apprenticeship hours (in-person or on-line) with the Clinical Herbalist Apprenticeship program

    Practical Herbalist Diploma

    Master Herbalist Diploma

    • Students must be enrolled in or have graduated from our Practical Herbalist Diploma Program, or have an equivalent education, if they wish to enroll in our Master Herbalist Diploma Program.

    Clinical Herbalist Apprenticeship

    • The Practical and Master Herbalist Diploma Programs are required to receive your clinical designation. However, you may begin your clinical training once you have enrolled in the Practical Herbalist Diploma Program and you have completed the Herbology 101 course.

    Courses taken at another school may be accepted as substitutes for Wild Rose College courses upon submission of transcripts, course outlines or syllabus. In some cases students may be asked to write a challenge exam at a cost of $75.00+GST. Courses allowable for transfer must have been taken within the past ten years.

    Our programs at Wild Rose Herbal College were created so the most casual or serious learner can take part. Our timelines and delivery ensure our students will be able to participate in our in-depth teachings while working or maintaining their other commitments.

    Depending on your other obligations, as well as how quickly you absorb the information, it is possible to complete a diploma program in as little as 1 year. However, students are given 3 years to complete the requirements and extensions are available upon request. Lifetime access pertains to course materials and course videos only.

    All courses can be completed online and at your own self-guided pace. Video lessons can be accessed at all times from anywhere with an internet connection; there is no need to attend class at a specific time.

    Our courses are designed so the most casual or serious learner can take part. Our delivery ensures you will be able to participate in our in-depth teachings while working or maintaining other commitments.

    Any courses that have live sessions will be announced in advance for a certain date and time. These can be accessed online and will be recorded so that they can be reviewed at a later date.

    All Wild Rose College courses & diploma programs include downloadable .pdf course manuals. Wild Rose College does offer the option to optionally add coiled and bound printed course manuals upon initial registration (or you may alternatively purchase as few or as many as you like at any time during your studies).

    Purchasing printed course manuals is not required, however some students prefer the printed and bound manuals to study off-line, so it is entirely a personal preference. We are also able to offer them at a competitive price and there may be a cost savings to printing them yourself.

    Senior Citizens (60+) are eligible for a 10% discount on full price online courses and diploma program tuition.

    The Master Herbalist Diploma teaches healing practices of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as taking a more in depth approach to using Western herbal medicines for specific pathologies.
